Most families come to me with the same quiet concern:
“My kids won’t sit still.”
“We’re kind of chaotic right now.”
“I just want this to feel natural.”
And I want you to know — that’s exactly who my sessions are for.
A family session with me doesn’t feel rushed or performative. There’s no pressure to “get it right.” Instead, it goes at the pace of your children, transitions naturally, and is deeply rooted in connection.

Before You Arrive
After you’ve booked, you will receive my Client Experience Guide. This guide helps walk you through before, during and after our session together. That way, you know exactly what to expect from me. I want you to walk into your session ready to have so much fun, rather than filled with stress about the unknown that’s about to take place. I’ve been there mama, and I’ve got you.

When You Arrive
We don’t jump straight into prompts and posing.
We take a moment to settle in.
Kids are free to explore, hold hands, climb into your lap, or stay close while they warm up. Parents don’t need to manage or direct — that’s not your job during our time together.
Your only role is to be with your family and enjoy it.

During the Session
I’m watching for the in-between moments:
- The way your child leans into you
- The squeeze of a hand
- The giggle that happens when no one is trying
I’ll offer gentle guidance when needed, but nothing forced. If a moment feels real, we stay there. If a child needs a break, we honor it.
This is a space where your family is allowed to be exactly as they are.

What I’m Really Photographing
I’m not just photographing what your family looks like —
I’m preserving how this season feels.
Because years from now, when life looks different, these images will bring you back to:
- The weight of them in your arms
- The sound of their laughter
- The closeness of this moment in time

If This Sounds Like Your Family
If you’re in the Houston or Charleston area and want family photos that feel honest, joy in the chaos, and deeply connected, I would be honored to photograph you.
You don’t need a perfect day.
Just a photographer who can make chaos feel like cherished perfection to a mothers eyes.
